I have just been told that my former father in law has died and I want everyone to know what a good man he was. Friendly and generous and an excellent grandfather to my children.
I haven't seen him for many years but he's not someone I have forgotten or can forget.
As a matter of faith I would like to believe he is now reunited with his wife Joan who died a few years ago: another one of life's good people.
