Enlightenment

Here I am playing with my new camera toy! The plant in this photo is a cutting of a Fuchsia plant that I bought earlier this year: it was fantastically prolific too.

These photos were taken in RAW format with my Olympus Digital 70 - 300 mm 1:4 - 5.6 ED lens: varying time delays ... from 1/6 second to 3.2 seconds. All at ISO 100, 202mm and f5.6.

Pay or Not Pay?

Someone somewhere has sent me s letter or parcel and has under paid the postage.

The card that landed on my door mat asked me to pay the shortfall of nine PENCE and a handling fee if £1.

What would you do?

I am not expecting a special letter or parcel

I decided that after 18 days the Royal Mail can return whatever it is to sender. If it's important those people will send it back to me. If it's junk mail, i've lost nothing have I?!

I read a birthday card in WH Smith yesterday that said something like:

On his 60th birthday Fred found himself ordering a beige jacket, beige trousers and a beige shirt from the beigewear catalogue.

I'm saying nothing ...

Bad Firework Photos
