I don't usually bore anyone with aeroplane/flight stories but here is one!
Usually, >=90% of the time, the person in front of me on any flight will throw their seat back. It's true: I am fated that way.
Last week, the man BEHIND me got on my nerves by constantly shifting in his seat and as he was curled up like a cat on his seat, he feet rubbed against and knocked the back of my seat over and over again. Nothing outrageous. It wasn't thump thump thump but enough for me to notice. On the way back from the toilet, I caught a glimpse of the man ... at first I thought it was a child but no, fully grown, adult.
I took this action, I put my seat back as far as it would go and leaned back into it too. That stopped him and I was able to get some comfortable rest after that. I really don't like inconsiderate people: the odd twitch, the excusable movement are free for everyone but the persistent annoyance that could have lasted 6 hours, the duration of the flight, is just unacceptable.
There you are, end of story: I won't mention the outward flight on which the two seats next to me were empty, the only empty seats on the flight and although I had thoughts of moving away from the man in front of me with his fully reclined seat (remember >=90%), the other two people on his row also had their seats fully reclined! I was grateful for being able to spread out a little so I won't bitch and moan at the seat recliners in front of me.
