Stats Video

Introduction

I am reopening my YouTube video page again and the first video in what will be an occasional series is this one in which I show how to begin to analyse data that you have just received or just downloaded.

You might already know the data or it might be absolutely new to you but that doesn't matter.

In the video you will see me creating

  • a correlation matrix
  • a table of descriptive statistics
  • a series of histograms
  • two scatter graphs to help us to appreciate the meaning of skewness and how to visualise a correlation coefficient of 0.8 and one of 0.0
